Divinity Doula Policy

Booking Requirements:

Deposit:

The deposit is 50% of your total amount.

The deposit is due at the time the contract is signed and will be applied towards the hours of service requested. 

The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE!!!

 

Remaining Balance:

Payment Plans are available. With a payment plan funds will be paid on a biweekly basis at the start of the work week. 

Example: My services begin on Tuesday. Tuesday you’d pay Divinity Doula for 2 weeks of service. You’d follow that payment schedule until the end of the agreement, with the option to pay in full at any time.

You can also Pay In Full. Payment would be due 30 days prior to EDD.

 

Funds:

For errands and grocery shopping, please provide me with the necessary funds for items to be purchased before the errand. Expenses can also be added to the schedule of payments.

 

Cancellation of Service:

Please notify me 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule a day of service to avoid a $50.00 late/cancellation fee. This fee does not apply in the case of a true emergency, public health crisis, or severe weather condition cancellations.

Once you have signed the contract, if you decide for any reason (other than a hospitalization of the birthing person/either one of the babies) that the signed-upon services are no longer needed, you are still responsible for the FULL DOLLAR AMOUNT of the contract.

I will notify you 24 hours in advance if I need to reschedule service for that day due to an illness or personal emergency. I will make every effort to provide a backup postpartum doula for you. If you waive the backup doula or one is not available on short notice, I will be sure to reschedule your time for another day within 48 hours.

In the event of severe illness, an alternative option will be provided depending on the circumstances & will be discussed individually.
